INTERCLUB TOURNAMENTS
The annual Cambourne Tennis Club Championships usually starts with the first round matches in the first week in June and culminating in the final matches which are normally played the last week in August. We invite you to compete to play for the Cambourne singles mens / ladies championship cup. We will be advertising entry details in May and all applications for those wishing to take part need to be received by the end of May.

LTA LEAGUE TENNIS
We have two mens doubles teams, a ladies team and a mixed doubles team all competing in the Cambridgeshire LTA leagues taking us around the region as far as Bury St Edmunds, Royston and Ely. The mens and ladies summer league matches run in May and June. The summer league mixed matches are in July and August. The winter league runs from October through to November.

Each team comprises of 4 players who play 2 matches in their doubles pair. Each match is 2 sets long with a tie break at 6 games all. The result of the match is then worked out over the 8 sets played, with a draw possible if 4 sets are won by each team.

While the games are competitve they are also friendly, often enjoying some tennis banter and light snacks after each game depending on the facilities the clubs have to offer.

The Mens 1st and 2nd team are steadily working their way up both the summer and winter leagues as the club is slowly growing in size. Check out the home page to see how they are getting on.
